The Secret Catalyst: Fun!

It can be so overwhelming. There's so much to choose from, so much out there on improving one's health, healing, metaphysical healing, nutritional healing, programs, coaching, coaching and more coaching.... how do you narrow it down?

You've tried this, and you've tried that, all to varying degrees of success, but it doesn't seem to stick. Why not? How, oh how, do you affect long-term positive change?

The resounding answer is, "Do what's right for you." But what does that mean, really? To be effective, it needs to be more specific. And there's one key element that works for all of us: Fun! When choosing resources, books, coaches, programs, of the wide variety before you, pick that which would be really fun!

While love, joy, appreciation and gratitude are the highest vibrations emotionally, fun and play are the highest vibrations of action.

Fun and play are the missing components from serious programs. They're serious about getting results. Which is good, but leaving out fun and play diminishes the probability of long-term or even permanent success. Expansive Prosperity and Health Holistic Coaching infuses a sense of joy and fun into healthful action! These are the spiritual qualities that catalyze lasting change. They are your direct line to authenticity.

Why is this important? What does this have to do with health and healing? Only that which is authentic will catapult you into the next levels of health and recovery. That Darned Manifestation "Lag Time"

One of the most frustrating things on the path of mastery can be the time it takes to manifest things. From the time I decide to manifest something, and when it actually shows up usually seems to be a crapshoot. At worst, it seems like God/dess/etc. is/aren't listening, or the Universe doesn't have my back, or...some other intangible variable?? But at best, it does seem like a crapshoot.

But it isn't.

The time it takes to manifest something is dependent upon one's base-line vibration. How happy and empowered I am in general as I suit up and show up and go about my day is usually quite different than how I feel when I sit in meditation and vibe away on how amazing it feels to have my heart's desires fulfilled. While these short bursts of high vibration and concentration are important, they do not dictate the swiftness of my manifestations. It is definitely the long term average that is the deciding factor.

Yes, it's that simple.

However, why one's base-line vibe isn't higher, and that it can take so darn long for things to manifest is extremely complex, with the main culprit being unconscious beliefs.

The thorniest beliefs though are the conscious ones that we don't realize are an issue. For example, I was so married to the belief that I had to fight tooth and nail in order to get my needs met, that I was difficult to deal with a lot of the time, for no discernible reason. Even a coworker said to me more than once "You don't have to be so tough."

When I finally did the work to let it go and try on something new, new energy just came flooding in! I was astounded at how much faster and easier manifestation became.

And it is my experience from speaking people who are new on the path of Mastery that sheer willingness to delve into the uncharted realm of beliefs can be too much to ask. This ends up being the difference between being on the path of Mastery, and continuing to flirt with victimhood. The novice tends to prefer being right, or justified in their situation, rather than up to the task of transforming it. The advanced students of the Laws of Attraction are just no longer willing to settle for less than their Divine birthrights: Happiness, health, peace and prosperity, and are willing to go to any lengths to get them.

The good news is that God/dess/etc. and the Universe have indeed got your back and give unconditional support, all the time, every time!

Your Magic Wand for Transmuting Illness into Abundance

Up until now, this blog has focused on metaphysical practices, so now let's move into the realms of the practical, 3D applications of these same principles. This is the crux of transmuting illness into abundance.

The good news is that transmuting illness is what the body does naturally. Non-natural substances stop this process. This day and age, it is well-known that pesticides, artificial sweeteners and certain food colorings (and other pollutants) cause cancer, diabetes, depression and many other ailments. And simply put, diseased cells are cells whose DNA have gone awry.

OK, we know that, but here's where it gets interesting: Another fact is that each cell has three sets of DNA, and geneticists of the 1990s determined that only one set is actually functional. What this means is that the body is naturally adept at transmuting illnesses! And therefore, when the body is in a dis-eased state, something has stopped that process.

So how do you get that process moving again? Whether you're healing diabetes, cancer, depression, endometriosis, the principles are the same.

Energy follows thoughts and feelings. These in combination are your magic wand! When I as in the process of healing endometriosis, I was absolutely clear that chronic illness, pain and all that those entail was not an option. I was unrelenting in my belief that I had better things to do with my energy and time than limp along (literally). It also became clear that my relationship to my body and myself had everything to do with the illness.

I had to review and revisit my past thoughts and feelings about myself and my body and be rigorously honest about how I used to be. Through journalling, meditation, and working with my own life coach, I uncovered that I was angry at my body for many years because I wasn't tall enough, thin enough, fashionable enough... In so many ways, I didn't measure up in my own eyes. And my diet reflected this too - I had terrible eating habits.

I ran this energy long enough that my body aligned itself just like iron pyrite on a magnet, and I became sick - and broke! My magic wand had also aligned my money with the disease! So, it was obvious that I needed new stories to tell myself in order to move out of disease, and back in to health and abundance. I had found a way to reverse the damage.

And so, I offer this process to my clients. The beauty of Expansive Prosperity and Health Holistic Coaching is that all of these things work together. Doing only one - exercise, or diet, or changing my thoughts and feelings about myself would only go so far. Putting them all together launches change exponentially. Together, they supercharged my magic wand! I was only sick with endometriosis for a few years. Considering the AMA has pegged it as a life-long, incurable disease, it is truly a miracle I had such a short run of it.

If you wish to know how you manifested illness, track your thoughts and feelings from as far back as you can remember. Phase 1 of EPH coaching is Get Honest! so it's imperative not to sugar-coat or minimize how you've felt, or what you thought. Once you identify them, you get to work your own magic by replacing them with new positive thoughts and feelings. This will be a great start to get your vitality - and your life back!

A Quick Study: The 7th Chakra

The 7th Chakra is chronology, time, presence of mind and attention. The Principle is "Living in the Here and Now", "being present". The paradox is "nowhere is actually now-here".

Anatomy of the 7th Chakra: The brain, beliefs, thoughts, intellect, abstract concepts.

The 7th Chakra connects back into the Universe and the rest of our Unlimited Soul Self.
Thoughts are creative. Connection with non-physical beings.

The affirmations are:

Everything and everyone prospers me now.
Doing the next right thing creates continual Abundance.
I am fully, Abundantly free now!.
The freedom we are activating/creating with this meditation is, in short, "Unconditional Abundance right Here, right Now"

A Quick Study: The 6th Chakra

The health of the 6th Chakra directly impacts our perceptions of the world, our experiences, and ergo, our Abundance, because it is through our perceptions that our beliefs, thoughts and feelings are born.

6th Chakra anatomy is: ears, eyes, nose, mouth/tongue.

Principles: discernment, perception, awareness
Preferences are a 6th Chakra issue.
The color is purple, another "bridge" color (blue and red). Interesting that Blue is 5th and Red 1st Chakra. I think this is a Divine Paradox, because the 7th Chakra is Violet, which is also red and blue, and in terms of a color wheel, this is accurate, because the 1st and 6/7th Chakras connect back together through the part of the circle that is The Universe. This means that the Universe's color as a an entity separate from the Human Being is Ultraviolet!
Violet/Ultraviolet feed into Red - 1st Chakra - so where does the 7th Chakra end and the Universe begin? AND where does Universe end and the 1st Chakra begin? THAT'S the Interconnectedness!

The affirmations the 6th Chakra are:

I see and benefit from numerous wonderful opportunities around me.
The more aware I become, the more my Abundance grows.
The freedom we are activating/creating with this meditation is, in short, "Unconditional Opportunities".

May you discern your opportunities clearly!

A Quick Study: The 5th Chakra

The principles of the 5th Chakra are "Balance", "Action", "Willpower", "Work", "Judgment" and "Manifest". This makes sense when you think of the area of the body this covers: throat and voice, shoulders, arms and hands, and thyroid.

The color is Blue, another primary color; the focus of the 5th Chakra is self.
With addictions, "our Will is to no avail". There's a profound problem with the 5th Chakra, which supports the earlier statement about self-will run riot.

5th chakra affirmations include:

I have work that I love, that is fun, meaningful and creative, that immediately prospers me at $x,000 per year.
I activate and magnetize to me all my rightful Abundance.
I am easily, effortlessly and quickly manifesting Abundance.

Again, note that the use of an underline in contrast with bold is to show that these are two separate concepts. For example, "having work" (or just plain "working") is one concept linguistically, but for our purposes here, metaphysically, "having" is separate from work, because you can have anything. We're stipulating that it is work that is being had (as it were). I hope this makes sense.

A Quick Study: The 4th Chakra

The 4th Chaka is our "receiver" dish. The Divine energies to which we are attuned come to us via the 4th Chakra.

Anatomy of the 4th Chakra: heart, lungs; breath/breathing, immune system, breasts.

The principles are "Love" and "Reciprocation".
The color is Green, another bridge color. To make green, yellow and blue must give and receive of each themselves to each other.
Money and The Green Man are both expression of Divine Love.

The affirmations are:

I receive huge deposits of money!
I receive loving companions, friends and soul buddies.
I receive Divine support and Guidance.

A Quick Study: The 3rd Chakra

The 3rd Chakra is where our sense of Self is centered, energetically. Self-sacrificing, self-punishment, and other levels of consciousnes (or lack thereof) that allow or perpetuate self-destruction manifest as disease in this area, such as diabetes, stomach and liver cancer, etc.

Anatomy of the 3rd Chakra: stomach, pancreas, etc,. Organs of the liver, solar plexus.

The principle is your relationship with yourself. That which pertains to self is a 3rd Chakra issue, like self-care, self-esteem, etc. Self-will run riot is a perversion of 3rd and 5th chakra energies that by-pass the 4th chakra, so which is why it is so destructive and out of balance.

The color is yellow, another primary color. The focus of the 3rd Chakra is self, not "other", which fits neatly into the concept that to be healthy, you must be the primary factor in your own life!

3rd Chakra affirmations affirmations include "I am" statements:

I am thriving.
I am tremendously wealthy.
I am easily, effortlessly and quickly manifesting Abundance.

Healthy 3rd chakra energy feels selfish to those who are out of balance or sick. The freedom we are activating/creating with this meditation is, in short, "Unconditional Health" since health is a function of Selfishness.

So, onward and upward to happiness, health, peace and prosperity! They more we love ourselves, the faster we can manifest our desires.

A Quick Study: The 2nd Chakra

The first 2 chakras are why "no wo/man is an island" is true, why we need others and why isolation makes us sick on so many levels. The Contrast about which Ester Hicks and Abraham speak so much arises from them, for without them, there is no "other" against which to compare/contrast ourselves and experiences.

Anatomy of the 2nd Chakra: lower abdomen, intestines, kidneys; for women, reproductive organs.

The driving principle is Connection: connection with others (our tribe/community), Communion/Heiros Gamos, relationships with others, our place in the world, our connection with anything.
The color is orange. It is a bridge - the connection - between red and yellow, the 1st and 3rd Chakras. You can see how this being a non-primary, a secondary color makes sense here, because the focus is on "the other".

Keywords for the 2nd Chakra are "Connection", "bridge", "tribe", and "community", etc. The 2nd Chakra affirmation I've been using is "“Abundance is my birthright.” e.g. I claim/activate the Abundance I was meant to be born with/am being borne into. It follows the principle that you are born into your tribe, literally - your parents are part of a community and your mother gives birth to you, so you are part of the tribe.

The freedom we are activating/creating with this meditation is, in short, "Unconditional Support".

May your feel ore deeply connected as you fine tune your 2nd Chakra!

A Quick Study: The 1st Chakra

The Chakras house our Attraction magnets. Our health depends on how we are running our energy (of course), and the chakras are where specific energies are run.

So, here is a summary of the First Chakra.

Physical anatomy: Bones, skin, and blood; pelvis, legs and feet; genitals, sex. For men: reproductive organs. .

The principle is "All is one" and the "Interconnectedness of All Things". This is our connection to Life, the Universe, and Everything.
1st Chakra energy connects us to and is the Field of Infinite Possibilities.
The color is Red. One metaphor for this is blood because blood permeates the entire body the way 1st Chakra energy connects us to everything. Blood connects everything in the body, e.g. when it picks up something like nutrients, or toxins or whatever, it transports them to every single other cell in the body, from the laminae of the toenails to the grey matter, to the hair follicles on your head.
Bones and skin are other organs that permeate the entire body.
This is a primary color; Universal energy is primal/primary, both of which linguistically mean First!
Our feet connect us to the Earth.

Keywords for First Chakra activation are "Universe", "All", "Everything", "Everyone" and other macrocosmic concepts, as noted in the affirmation: The Universe is Abundant and All my needs are met with generosity and alacrity".

The freedom we are activating/creating with this meditation is, in short, "Unconditional Abundance".

EPH and the F Word

The big F Word is one that is regularly part of the Energy Pattern Healing sessions. But don't be shocked, because it's something we all strive for, whether we admit it or not, and often with our common sense shaking a finger at us!

Yes, I'm talking about having fun! The whole point of Energy Pattern Healing is to have more fun in our lives! It is when our energy patterns are in alignment with our intentions for ourselves that we achieve the greatest possible freedom of choice! Or, to put it another way, to have the most fun!

Fun in EPH terms means to be Fully Unlimited Now! And to do this, we must deal with all those other F words. In order to have fun, we must be:

Free from fear
Fully forgiving of ourselves, as God/dess/etc already has forgiven us
Actively feeeeel enfolded in the Divine flow

Having fun is the fastest, surest and loveliest way to be authentic. It assures we are fully connected with God/dess/etc, plugged right in to pure Abundance! When we do this and maintain our happiest vibration, miracles come through for us.

This is the promise of Energy Pattern Healing: that our lives will unfold gloriously, in delightful, unexpected ways. When you are up to deliberate creation, this is the deal. When you go to the grocery store and buy milk, you will soon find milk in your fridge! And since there's no way to be able to stick a timeframe to manifesting, our job is to maintain our vibration, and wait it out with patience, compassion and gratitude while the old energy patterns fade out.
Try It
In order to see which energy patterns have played out in your life, make a list of all the areas that have improved! Give yourself full credit for everything you have manifested, from the smallest, most coincidental (remember, "coincidence" is just God/dess/etc's way of showing up... and sometimes showing off...).

What are Energy Patterns, exactly?

Energy patterns are the templates of our souls. They are the structure that gives rise to our reality. As such, they determine our experiences. In essence, they are the filters through which the light of our ideas about ourselves and our world shines.

As we have traveled through our lives, learned some lessons, and ignored others, we have continually shaped our energy patterns. The ways in which we have grown, changed and evolved reflect the extent to which we have taken responsibility for ourselves. The ways in which we have devolved reflect the ways in which we have been ignorant, arrogant and even just plain pigheaded.

Understanding fractals helps us understand energy patterns because fractals are truly living examples of Divine Paradox and mystery, and yet are in concrete, tangible physical form. They are the very fingerprints of God/dess/etc in the most ordinary of things:

the spirals within spirals of the fern frond, and the chambered nautilus
the perfect symmetry and balance of snowflakes
the stunning perfection of dust particles coloring the sunset as it fades
the play of light and foam on rolling waves
The leaping of individual colors in a fire in their split-second dance

Our own energy patterns are no less magnificent and no less removed from the power of God/dess/etc. As Grace moves planets through the heavens, so too it moves through our energy patterns as wind moves through chimes. Our “chiming” is the vibration we emit through the Universe.

How Energy Pattern Healing Works
With fractals, when you change one number, ergo, one little line or curve, in the basic image, that simple change is replicated throughout the entire pattern. It results in a radical, radial change in the big picture. This is how Energy Pattern Healing works. When we realize a self-destructive pattern no longer works for us, and we sit down with the Guides and Angels, what we’re asking them to do is make a change in our curves and angles. They change our basic mathematical formulae!

Try It
The Guides tell me fractals are the best way to understand how energy patterns work. Yet fractal mathematics is really only an analogy. Granted, it’s very complicated and I honestly don’t fully understand the field, but I can appreciate the principles. So, as always, I offer it up for your scrutiny, as well. Divine Birthrights: Being Heard

Ironically, as I am writing about our Divine Birthright of Being Heard, I'm discovering that my Blog updates are not being posted. I am not being heard! I've been writing this blog for over a year now, and no one has "heard" me! Wow.....this is obviously an Energy Pattern I need to heal for myself. Funny, for years I've been addressing the pattern of Invisibility with clients, which is especially common for women, but Being Heard is new in my conscious awareness. And yet (like most Energy Pattern issues) it seems ridiculously obvious now that is is on my radar!

Such is the subtly and profundity that is Energy Patterns.

So here's what I'm going to do about it:

Find out what my beliefs are about being heard
Find out how I feel about NOT being heard (so far, this one is a no-brainer: I am So frustrated I could just scream!)
Find out how I feel about being heard. (The feeling immediately coming up as I write this is fear of prosecution).

I don't feel betrayed by God/dess/etc or anyone else, so that's good. That tells me I don't have a victimhood program running in conjunction with this.

Following the principle of "As Above, so Below", if there's a problem with my Being Heard, then there's going to be a problem with how I hear others. So I need to get clear on my end of things - what is is I THINK I am doing versus what is it I HAVE BEEN doing. And so I need to clean up my side of the street. I will call some close friends and ask for their feedback.

I will choose people I know will be honest with me, and are likely to be balanced (example: my mom will have a biased opinion; either she will be too hard on me, or too sweet and accepting, and make some excuses. Neither is helpful. Such are family members, God/dess/etc love 'em!)
Be honest, myself. If I invalidate their feedback because it's painful, I won't be able to fully heal the pattern. I need to accept what is, love myself anyway, and move forward with the healing process.

Sit down with my charts, The Guides and Angels, and delete this Energy Pattern and its supporting patterns, and weave in new Patterns.

It's also obvious I DO have the Pattern of Being Heard on key levels, as evidenced by the fact that I am fully functional as a native speaker of a spoken language; I am not physically mute and there is nothing physiologically or pathologically wrong with my ability to speak. Thank God/dess/etc! I am profoundly grateful for that! (If you can't speak well, people can't hear your intended communication correctly; you won't accurate Be Heard)

Do some journalling around what it looks like when I am (finally!) fully heard.

How my manifestations will change,
and how my relationships will change, as a result in the change in my vibration.

I will do some EFT tapping, as well, to clear out any residual energy, as well as help activate the new patterns.

In short, I wll do everything that I'd tell you to do!

And although I am fully capable of speech to the extent of verbosity and loquacity, if there is a disconnect around my being heard, I will experience (as indeed has been the case) discrepancies between my intended manifestations, and my actual manifestations. Such is the criticality of healing ones Energy Patterns!

Divine Birthrights: Receiving

Receiving is the final step in manifesting. What it is, exactly, we receive, is equally shaped by our Energy Patterns as what we ask for (Step 1) and the Response we get from the Universe (Step 2). Just like our beliefs, Energy Patterns are in effect at every level of the manifestation process.
We already know that the stories we have around our worthiness effect both our Asking and our Receiving. The kicker is that our Energy Patterns even more powerfully - and subtly - influence this process. The easy (or easier, really) part of staying empowered to create positive change is to address our conscious levels of interaction with the universe. Translation: Our thoughts and feelings are the conscious levels of our creative process. The Subconscious and Superconscious levels are trickier because they are not nearly so obvious. It is at these levels that Energy Pattern Healing is done. EPH clients are given homework to activate these new patterns on the Conscious, 3D levels.

In order to Receive what it is we actually want instead of being at the mercy of rogue Energy Patterns and beliefs, we need to change not only our Patterns around the acts of Asking and Receiving, we need to change our Patterns around what it is we're wanting.

Example:
An entrepreneur wants more customers. She has done her homework around being worthy of asking for what she needs, as well as having her needs met, e.g. Receiving. However, if she has not changed her Patterns around people and relationships, the customers she receives will reflect that. Even the quantity of customers is affected.

Since Receiving is one of our Divine Birthrights, it is natural to feel frustrated and disappointed when what we Receive is not what we truly intended. It's important not to dismiss the feeling as the problem. Instead of reacting with "Oh - I need to change how I feel about this", we need to look deeper and find the Pattern that has manifested. Our reactionary feelings are key indicators of the degree to which our Energy Patterns are in alignment with our intentions for ourselves.

SO, if you're manifesting not quite what you intend, keep tweaking! Keep at it! The more diligent you are, the closer you are to Mastery!

"Outvibing" Your Energy Patterns

Some popular teachings really push the idea that all you have to do is focus on the positive and everything you want will manifest beautifully. Those of us who have been doing this for a while (say, oh... 10 years) have discovered that while YES it makes a big difference, it's just not that simple. If it were that simple, we'd only need one healing modality, not dozens.

Case in point: I know a gal who has been studying vibration shifting longer than I have, and has, for the last 10 years, been meditating on, focusing on, creating vision boards for, etc, her Right and Perfect husband.

And of course, she has - just like the rest of us - a lot of overcome: a worse-case scenario alcoholic upbringing (etc etc), but she's been Vibing! Good for her! AND, an important part of this puzzle is that she never got any real councelling or did 12 step Recovery as an adult, nor any other serious healing. But BOY did she keep her vibe up! And her physique. She runs marathons, is an aerobics instructor, is reasonbly wealthy, is well-educated and she's pretty.

Take a moment to think of what her relationships have been like, with all this vibing.... hnmmm... looks good, doesn't it?

And here is her outcome:

Her most recent steady relationship ended 11 years ago.
She has had a series of one-night-stands, several of whom have been coworkers.
A string of married men wanting to make her their Other Woman. Many of these are coworkers, too.
A string of men who just like her as a friend.

FINALLY hope shone through: she went to a very powerful Astrologist for a reading for her birthday for the year, and as it turns out, ALL her planets are in her Relationship House this year! Yay! Finally she'll get what she wants!

What she manifested was this: she was sexually assaulted by a married friend. She was devastated. AND her relationship with her alcoholic mother also hit an all-time low.

This story has several morals:

When all your planets line up like that, it reveals what your Energy Patterns ARE, not what you think they might be, or wish them to be.
You canNOT outvibe your Energy Patterns.
If you want to change your foundational vibration, you must do your nitty-gritty, in-the-trenches shovel-swinging. If you want it to stop stinking, you MUST muck out the barn. You can't vibe away the manure.

This is because your Energy Patterns are the vessel that gives form to your 3-D existance. Therapy, 12 Step Recovery, and any other work that gets you swinging that shovel is critical to changing your foundational vibration. Wounds that are not healed are trapped energy and are therefore part of that foundation. And once healed, you then have freedom of choice around your manifestations. Energy Pattern Healing is an important tool to clearing away all that manure. It helps you uncover the Riches buried under your manure!

Mastery: Holding your Happiness Despite Crises

Holding your Happiness in the face of a crisis is the hallmark of the Master because it seems impossible, especially in these tumultuous times. Most of us are taught to stuff our distress so as not to distress others during the distress, so there's a vicious cycle of taking on responsibilities that don't belong to us, and freaking out about the situation, and then more freaking out because we recognize our attempts to shut down isn't working. It's a no-brainer that this is a recipe for emotional, spiritual and physical illness.
So how does one go about maintaining their sanity and connection to Unconditional Love in the face of impending financial ruin or a loved one dying? The answer is simple. It may not be easy, but it is simple. You stay connected to Unconditional Love by staying connected to Who You Really Are. To put in another way, you stay connected to Unconditional Love by staying connected to Unconditional Love.

This means that you recognize that this disaster is NOT who you are as a person; it is not personal. It is external to you. It does not define you, and, as with all external items, you have choices as to how you handle the emotions and beliefs that come up, and the healing that can be done around them to keep you moving forward toward greater and greater Happiness, Health, Peace and Prosperity (Yes! Your response to crises affects your prosperity, too.)

While it's very human to fall apart during a disaster, it's Fully Human to not fall apart. While this flies in the face of millennia of societal conditioning, decades - and even lifetimes - of personal habits, it is doable. Mastery is an option for all of us. If we respond to that statement with "I can't because..." we are fully faced with our conditioning, habits and especially Energy Patterns.

The key to Mastery is in our Energy Patterns. They are our Soul's master templates that give structure to our conditioning, habits and eventually our experiences. Our Energy Patterns determine the stories that fill in the blanks of "I can't because...", and Energy Pattern Healing helps us to deliberately sculpt our lives.

Try It

Next time you're feeling unsettled, ask yourself the following:

Do I want to be right, or do I want to Happy?
What do I need to do to reconnect with Unconditional Love?

Perhaps a quick trip to the Little Chapel Down the Hall - the bathroom - for a 2 minute prayer and meditation for guidance.
Perhaps a phone call to a friend who can help you remember your Radiance is not dependent on outside circumstances.
Perhaps a quick perusal of an inspiring poem or snippet of literature.

What would _______ do? (The Buddha, Christ, The Dalai Lama, Black Elk... the list is long).
Did I cause this? Can I control this? Can I cure this?

The answer is NO because you are not omnipotent. You cannot stop someone from dying; you cannot keep your spouse from being fired. But you CAN stay empowered, and that will make a difference. .... and if you find yourself arguing with this, go back to Question #1.

So lots of love and many blessings to you all, and let this be the Season of Joy and Celebration that is it. Crises do not have to take that away from you.

Divine Birthrights: Authentic Desire

Some religions teach that desire causes suffering, because it creates unhappiness with where you are in the Here and Now. As usual, something a little less extreme is more accurate and definitely more useful for us to consider.

Emotions are the language of the Soul and are therefore one of our Divine Birthrights. The are a link to our Divinity. When we feel something, it is a communication frm our Higher Power/Higher Self/Christ Within (whatever you want to call it). Anxiety alerts us to the fact that something we are engaging in is harmful to us. Anger alerts us to boundary violations. Desire is also a communication on a Soul level. Authentic desire is one that that can be followed while maintaining full integrity, honesty and responsibility.

In my Energy Pattern Healing practice, I have found that the fire of authentic desire is very important because it is the impetus that moves us forward in our lives. Following our authentic desires leads us to make choices that result in our own happiness, so happiness is actually a function of authenic desire, rather than the absense of desire. Denying desire leads to the false humility. This false humility comes into play because the ego kicks in at the perception of having attained some sort of "special" status. I'm not talking about neglecting people and responsibilities to get your own way. The trick is to find a way to reach that which you desire while respecting the people who count on you. The two are compatible.

Try It
Were you raised with the idea that selflessness or servitude is Holy and Divine? What desires have you let go of in order to remain "socially acceptable"? Often, our heart's desire leads to being of service in new ways. Write down the ways in which you could better be of Service if you were aligned with your authentic desire. It helps to understand that when we are happy and joyful in whatever it is we are doing, we are anchoring Light to the World and creating a better place for everyone. How is the world deprived of a service if you don't act on your Authentic desire?

Divine Birthrights: Unconditional Love

Unconditional Love is our primal Divine Birthright. It belongs to each of us, equally, just because we exist. Like all of our Divine Birthrights, there is nothing special we have to do to earn it. Unconditional love is a primal Birthright, and ergo primary energy, because it is the baseline vibration of the Universe. It is the fabric of the Law of Attraction. The magic of it is that nothing can remain unchanged in the presence of Unconditional Love!

God/dess/etc love us so much, s/he/it supports us in a ll we are doing,. Whatever we are up to, we get more of the same, easily. The key to Unconditional Love is lack of judgment. God/dess/etc does not judge us, deem us worthy or unworthy. Instead, s/he/it/they respond to our vibration immediately. So, if you are doing things that don't serve you, you will get more and more uncomfortable as the Universe continues to support you in your choices. The moment you make a new choice, that too is supported, and your new intention is equally responded to. Because we are creatures of habit, often we experience more of what we used top be up to, because it takes a while for our total vibration to catch up to and align with our new one. And when we don't get what we want, we tend to judge it, which is not in alignment with Unconditional Love. This perpetuates a lack of alignment with our new intention and vibration.

Try It
Whatever your concern - a health issue, a money issue, etc - visualize it imbued with Unconditional Love. Where there is illness, envision and feeeel the cells and tissues filled with it. If it is a money issue you're experiencing, envision and feeel your bank account, wallet and pockets filled with it! If it is a relationship issue, envision and feeeel yourself and the other person (or people, like coworkers) surrounded by and enveloped in Unconditional Love. While you're in this state of advanced consciousness, ask for complete and total healing, and extend the visualization to the point that your body is fully healed and vibrantly healthy, your bank account is overflowing with wealth and your relationships as easy, harmonious, mutually respctful and enjoyable.

This is where Energy Pattern Healing can really help. Mastery is the ability to take responsibility for all your feelings and circumstances, failures and successes, without apologies, without excuses, without resentment, and without false humility.

How does Energy Pattern Healing helps us along the path to Mastery?
Through Energy Pattern Healing, you will learn to have more compassion for yourself. Your soul's templates are changed so you can manifest the support, strength and integrity it takes to transform yourself into Who You Really Are - namely the Divine Being that you are who is having a human experience. Setting your Vibration foundation

Energy Pattern Healing is an advanced metaphysical healing method. What is does is fine tune your vibration to increase your natural magnetism. The beauty of Energy Pattern Healing is that it is co-creative. You work intimately on the super- and subconscious levels with your Guides. Since you are not working alone, and this work permeates all levels of your existence, ALL your relationships become deeper. You become more meaningfully connected!

As your vibration improves, you become attuned to Abundance. You will experience greater happiness because that's what attunement means! You are vibrating to the TUNE of the Universe! The more in tune you are, the more your mature spiritually. For example, you will move away from the "Santa Clause" model of God, where you ask, hope, beg, maybe even try to bargain, in order to get what you want, and it may or may not happen, and if you don't get what you want, you end up wondering what you did wrong. Head-Knowledge versus Heart-Knowledge

Head-knowledge is what you know intellectually. It's what you know to do to make good choices, to be functional and participate well in life. It's the good advice you give to friends in need.

So what happens when you are the one in need? Do you heed your own advice? Or do you inexplicably find it impossible to take the actions you know are required to protect yourself, or extricate yourself from a bad situation?

Heart-knowledge is emotional knowledge. It is what you have actually internalized of all that you have studied, and it shows the progress you have made over time. Your heart-knowledge manifests as the actions you take on your own behalf.

Shamanically, the 5th Chakra, in the throat area, governs the energy of the balance between compassion and judgment (i.e. discernment). When knowledge passes from the heart (4th chakra) to the mind (6th chakra), it is transformed by the energies of the 5th chakra. So when knowledge is passed from the heart to the mind, it passes through Judgment and when it passed from mind to heart, it passes through compassion. When the 2 (heart & mind) meet in discernment, the 5th chakra balances them, like the fulcrum of a teeter-totter.

This difference between head-knowledge and heart knowledge is the reason cognitive therapy has such a high failure rate: it focuses on head-knowledge. An intellectual approach is ineffective when attempting emotional healing. The two planes do not intersect prior to healing.

Try It
When you find yourself at a loss to follow advice you know is prudent, sit in meditation and visualize what your life would look like if you did take these actions. Pretend you are taking your own good advice. What would you do? How would you talk differently to yourself? What wouldn't you do anymore? Whom would you seek out for advice?

Balance: collaborating with yourself

This week, we are going to look at co-operation and collaboration. Nothing happens without co-operation, even if we are grudging about whatever issue is at hand. Collaboration, however, is at a much higher level of consciousness. Collaboration cannot happen if there is resentment, anger or any other kind of unwillingness or negativity. True collaboration occurs when unconditional love it present.

Many times in my life I have been so frustrated or depressed, indeed felt so totally powerless over something, that I have just wanted to scream at Father Sky, "OK, I'm done here! I can't do this anymore! I want to go home!" But alas - I had left my ruby slippers back in Heaven and clicking my heels together just wasn't an effective means of transportation. I had to go on. I had no choice but to witness the dawning of a new day. The beauty of it was that it didn't matter if I didn't have the strength - the sun would rise anyway. And actually, it was a relief to know I didn't have to do anything special for it. In fact, I slept right through it! This is one major blessing about being here on Earth. When we rest and rejuvenate after trying so hard, we are rewarded. With a little awareness, I learned I didn't have to try so hard. What counts is that I make an effort.

Try It

List three ways you find balance between resting and effort. Maybe you can enlist a family member of friend to help with a project or even a house chore. For example, my son is only 7, and he helps me with the sweeping. While he is too little to wield a full sized broom, he's might handy with a brush and dust pan. So I sweep the dust and bits of paper, etc., into a pile and he sweeps the pile into the dust pan and throws it out.

The Power of Our EarthWalk: Honoring Creation in all its Phases

Two nights ago, I came home to a funny smell. But I ignored it, as it wasn't too strong, and it was mostly not there. I set up and did my ritual for healing and alignment of my Will with Holy Intention. As I energized and lit my candles, there it was again, slightly putrid, but still infrequent, wafting occasionally into my living room on the night breeze (I always open the doors for the lovely cool air). I would sniff, and it would be gone. It seemed they had sprayed bug poison on my porch! Disgusting.

The next morning, the smell was still there, and I wanted to investigate before making phone calls to complain to my landlord and handyman. Yet, upon poking around on the porch, I could not detect it. Odd. So, I sighed, and went back in.

But there it was, stronger on the inside than the out, wafting, inconsistent... had something died? In my mail slot? ICKK!!! But No - all clear there.

Sunday morning, I needed to scrape the soot and char from my smudge stick before my morning observance, and took it outside to scatter the scraping. As I poked around for that spoon left in the soil, I decided to try to find that dead body in the garden, so I could bury it, get rid of the smell. And if I found no body, I would wash down the walls of my porch and get rid of the spray.

It didn't take long - there it was, all of 8 inches, not including a tail. A very long, bald, muddy tail. A pretty big rat! But no again - I spooned the leaves off its head, and found a baby 'possum. The ants went berserk at the intrusion.

"Oh little friend!" I said, "How did you get here?" I couldn't imagine how it would have come to be there. A baby? A 'possum with no real forest around? The ants' work was nearly done, and it I wasn't inspired to move it, so I said a little prayer for it, sprinkled it with the ash, lit the sage, and smudged it and the ants, and went back in.

I decided to honor its death by allowing it, instead of burying it - getting rid of it. There is no source of contamination - no pet bowls, no source of water, and nothing to pick and eat from that part of the garden. But - as it common in Ritual - the work happens before you actually do the ritual - so here was the proof - the banishment and containment of my ails were a death of sorts of a part of myself that no longer servers me - manifested in the death of a little 'possum.

Shamanism teaches to watch for the bigger patterns of the Sacred in the animals, for they still hear and respond to the Song of the Universe people can no longer easily access due to the myriad of reasons for the last 2 thousand years. My prayers, it seems, have been answered! And I take on faith and with patience that that which ails me is gone and will directly manifest too.

Energy Pattern Healing helps us across all lifetimes. Traumas that continue to haunt us across the timespace continua are healed and we are thus freed to move into the fullness of our Being, the fullnes of our Divine Birthrights of Abundance!

Angels and Soul Councils

There are lots of different kinds of spirit guides, from Animal totems to ancestors, and angels, and there are many different kinds of spirit guide councils. Different traditions tell us there different numbers, like one Guardian Angel, several spirit guides, or nine primary totem animals, or even an army of angels dancing onthe head of a pin.

So who's right?

They all are. What the Guides have told me is that there are soul councils for each level of our souls, which are infinite! And there are different numbers of guides on each council, depending on the circumstance. So when you're alone meditating in a your room, synagog, grove, church, etc., there are a certain number with you, but the moment someone else enters the room, or knocks on the door, the Councils and Guides shift. There might be more guides and fewer councils, or more councils with fewer Guides; it depends on your relationship with the person who comes in, and the baggage between you from other lifetimes, if any. You might have only one council immediately with you with 3 Guides while you're in the kitchen chopping vegetables, and suddenly several armies are protecting you if a scary person up to no good is knocking on your front door.

What's important is that we are guided, connected and protected as needed. The details of how this all works are unimportant to our daily functioning.

That said, Angels are a specific class (for lack of a better word) of spirit guide. They are committed to protecting, supporting, and healing us. They are conduits of Unconditional Love that we can call on when we need to. This absolutely cannot be said of all Spirit Guides, or indeed of spirits in general. For every "bad" (harmful, etc.) person on this planet, there is an equally harmful army of spirit guides. Afterall, you cannot have Guides that don't match your vibration.
Just as there are people who believe that experiencing pain, fear, and trauma etc., is "good" for you for all kinds of reasons (such as "beating the devil out ofyou"), there are Guides with the same M.O.s.

Try It
Angels are here to support us in our growth, and align us with positive experiences and people. We are free to call on them for help, healing, or guidance. There are Archangels, Soul Healing Angels, Angelic SWAT teams, and other councils. You can ask them to uplift, elevate, educate, harmonize and Balance and supervise your spirit guides and councils so that they are all in alignment with increasing your happiness, health, peace and prosperity. And you can ask the Angels to "UPS"out of there any guides that refuse to come on board with your request. (UPS is shorthand for putting them in a mirrored God-box, filling it with Unconditional Love, and shipping them off to their Right and Perfect place.

Light Thoughts: In-Spirit-ion and En-theus-iasm

Inspiration and Enthusiasm are two of my favorite words because they both pertain to being imbued with the Divine. Merriam Webster's 9th New Collegiate Dictionary defines "inspiration" as "[...] a divine influence or action on a person believed to qualify him to receive and communicate sacred revelation." Similarly, "enthusiasm" means "[...] belief in special revelations of the Holy Spirit". So really, they mean the same thing, but we use them in different ways. And since we are all Divine Beings having a human experience, we are all qualified to receive and communicate sacred revelation.

Try It
Inspired action leads to amazing results. Think of something you've been wanting to try but haven't gotten around to yet. How can you take inspired action to enthusiastically participate? Better yet, think of something you've been avoiding, and come up with a way you can take inspired action to enthusiastically do it!

Meditation Moment: The Movement of Breath

Breathing is an amazing yet often overlooked tool. Yes, we'd die without it, but it is also the foundation for yoga, relaxation, sleep and even exercise. There is even yoga for healing depression, which works primarily through breath. As the brain gets better oxygenated, depression lifts. As we relax and our breathing becomes regular, even, and also deepens, we are able to meditate more meaningfully, and sleep more soundly. Exercise is profoundly affected by breath. Some asthmatics run marathons or swim competitively, and even ice skate competitively, as is the case with Scott Hamilton, so they can draw a decent breath.

Try It
Take 7 deep breaths, one for each Chakra. If you don't know what a Chakra is, don't worry about it, we'll cover that later. As your ribcage expands, allow your awareness to expand. What do you hear? How do you feel? If you are in pain, allow your exhale to carry the pain out of your body. How does the quality of your breathing affect the quality of your life?

Moon tides: Wash Away the Sins of the World

"Sin" is a misnomer. For start, it is like the word "hell" - they both have Germanic origins, and neither has anything to do with punishment or damnation. So what does it mean to "Wash Away the Sins of the World"? For years I struggled with how can God/dess/etc be so horrible as to allow devastating things to happen. I felt compelled to do something to help. But what?? So many problems to choose from! And I am I just one person; it seemed impossible to actually make a difference. Joining a group didn't seem good enough, because, after all, what about the other 100 million problems? As my Path has unfolded, it has become astonishingly clear exactly what it is I am here for. I am to offer Energy Pattern Healing. And I got this answer through actions and prayer, as well as trial and error. I had been studying energy healing, esoteric writings and shamanism for 20 years and knew I was "supposed" to be doing something as a psychic and healing. This is my "sin" ("it is true", in Old English). Through Energy Pattern Healing, I help - along with other Light Workers and healers - wash away the sins of the world and make way for Happiness, Health, Peace and Prosperity for all.

Try It
When you are unclear about what you can do to help, look at the things you love to do. Your Gift is hidden in there somewhere. Sit in mediation and reflect on all the neat, fun and interesting things you do, and pray for guidance so you can understand how you can apply some aspect of these things to helping the world be better place. The answer will come. In your gut, you will know. Trust this, and follow your hunches, for in them lies your own Perfection.

Transformational Perspectives How you see it; how you don't.

How do you get to Mastery? Perspective, perspective, perspective! When in the throes of the soap operas and dramas in my life, I have had no choice but to take everything seriously. When I was hurt, boy I was really really wounded. When I was right, boy, I was really really righteous! As I've done the cheese thing and mellowed in my old age, I've come to understand that I can't be hurt unless I'm open to it. Let's look at the idea that the people around you are mirrors for you. I used to understand that to mean that if someone was a jerk to me, I must be a jerk, too. And I sure was a jerk a lot more than I'd ever thought! My self-esteem plummeted. As I've grown over the years, I've come to understand that that is NOT the message behind the mirror. And so I offer to you this change in perspective: The negative FEEELINGS I get when I witness something are an indication of areas where I need healing. When I am offended, shocked, or hurt, it is not about the other person - even if what s/he did is "wrong". But s/he is not my business. My feelings are about ME.

When we are healed and whole, we can hear the same thing, see the same incident, witness the same situation, without all the upset. While we'd never be happy about the sadness in the world, we won't be wounded by it any longer.

Try It
Think of a time, as recent as possible, when you were hurt or deeply saddened, or made very angry when someone said or did something. It could have happened in person, on the news, or in a story. Really allow the feeling to show itself, then look for its message to you. What do you need to do to take care of yourself and find healing? Perhaps you shouldn't watch the news anymore (I haven't for years - it's too painful to witness all the crap that goes on; I listen to the radio instead). Pray for the guidance you need to find healing so that the next time you encounter a similar situation, you remain calm, peaceful and empowered. This does not mean you agree with what's going on, but it does mean it won't ruin your day. You will no longer give it power over your life.

Meditation Moment: The Sky is Her Cloak

The sky is the cloak that wraps our Great Earth Mother. It is also the cloak that wraps the Triple Goddess Moon. Father Sun, too, is enshrined with the Sky Cloak. We, each of us their Holy Child, also are inextricably connected within it. This is especially tangible on a foggy, misty, rainy day with low visibility. The Stars, then, crown us all in the glory of the heavens. No wonder images of the Holy Mother depict her with a crown of stars. She is indeed Queen of the Heavens, and is powerfully manifested as our Earth. To hear NASA tell it, ours is the most gorgeous jewel in our solar system, resplendent in pearl, lapis and emerald.

Try It

Lie in the grass on your back during the dark of the moon and gaze at the sky for awhile. See if you can track a tiny satellite across the sky. Count the shooting stars (especially in August). Imagine being on a different planet way out there, and looking into the night, and there, just off the left, is the little blue green star. Or is it a planet? They call it "Earth". And the big bright one, Sol, is 8 light minutes away. By way of comparison, Sirius, the Dog Star is more than 8 light years away. If it were to suddenly blink out and disappear, you realize that it would have been out for the past 8 years, but just now, that blink was its last transmission of Light, and we would be just now finding out about it.

Since the Sky is Her cloak, it is also our cloak, we too are mantled in Her stars.

The Shamanic Legacy of Energy Pattern Healing

There is nothing I do, teach or kibitz about in my Energy Pattern Healing practice that is not inherently part of Shamanism. Shamanism is the energy work of ancient, pre-Christian teachings found around the world. While details differ from culture to culture, most of the principles remain the same. I like to put a new and fun spin on the material. While one can quantifiably break Shamanism down into its component parts, such as "Celtic" or "Native American" or "Toltec", it has the same building blocks universally. Aspects of the Sacred Elements of Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Spirit are found throughout them all. Aspects of the Sacred Directions of North, South, East, West and Center are also found throughout them all. While I am not here to academically compare and contrast the traditions, the Energy Pattern Healing I offer is intrinsically imbued with them.

The Power of Our Earthwalk - So What's Mastery?
The whole point of our Earthwalk - being in our bodies - is continual improvement. Walking upon the Earth is an exercise in the element of Earth, literally being grounded, which grants us the ability to beecome clear and discerning. This continual improvement means eventual Mastery.

Mastery is the journey to limitlessness, to making decisions that support your own vitality and happiness. Mastery is being truly grateful for - and happy about - all the bad decisions you've made and missed opportunities that have been instrumental in helping you craft Who You Really Are. It is the ability to take responsibility for all your feelings and circumstances, failures and successes, without apologies, without excuses, without resentment, and without gloating. Key signposts of being on the Path to Mastery are recognizing and reveling in your own worth, delighting in Who You Really Are, and seeking out the best ways to offer your Gifts to the world. And the best part, the biggest reward for being on the path to Mastery, is manifesting your dearest joys and dreams, financially, emotionally, and Spiritually.

Why? How is this so?

Because the Path to Mastery cuts away all the crap that impedes our amazingness. During Energy Pattern Healing sessions, you will be given insights, ideas and inspiration that encourage you to unfold, and to help you understand that the things you are going through are normal on the Path to Mastery. "Entitlement" vs. "Deserving"

There are times when we all feel cheated out of something important, especially if we have experienced real abuse as children. On many levels it is totally true that we have been cheated out of vitally important good things we deserved. But in order to move past the harm visited upon us, we need to recognize the truth of the situation.

There are 2 components to this: One is to acknowledge that what we Deserve has nothing to do with what we actually get. EVERYONE deserves good things. Goodness is our Divine Birthright. So the question becomes "What brought these things into being?" Especially with children, harmful situations are the result of imperfect, undesirable Energy Patterns on the Soul level that can be cleared out and replaced via Energy Pattern Healing (and other healing modalities, but EPH is very thorough,a nd very fast).

The second component is that the flip side of "cheated out of" is "entitled to". No one is "entitled to" anything; Deserving something is not related to entitlement. My Spirit Guides have made it clear over the years that entitlement is not healthy; it's heavy judgment, a major "should", and is ego/fear based. Deserving is love/God-based.

If we can dissolve the judgment and neutralize the "should", we can switch out of the entitlement paradigm and become free to move into proactively creating the life you deserve!

Your Authentic Self

The Guides have just given me an incredible gold nugget of wisdom I'm thrilled to share with you!

When we are in a state of being that IS our Authentic Self, we are in a state of Nirvana, true perfection! When we are fully Authentic, all disease disappears. There is no room for cancer, anxiety, depression, or awkward relationships, because the Authentic Self is Divine Grace, fully manifested! The body is restored to vibrant health, the mind is clear, discerning and observant, the Spirit experiences serenity and connection. In short, the Authentic Self is a place of complete wholeness. When we become our Authentic Selves, everything we experience is love-based; everything flows easily, gracefully and Abundantly. We are fulfilled and content. All struggle ends.

Some have said that the mystic path is a lonely one, that it's hard to find others in the same space, and that it becomes harder to have relationships with "normal" i.e. non-mystical people, because normies can't relate to the Authentic Self. Another reason is that mystics are Truth Bearers, and the norm is to live in the falsehoods perpetuated by the status quo.

The Guides assure me this is not the case. People bothered by the Truth that they are not fully in integrity say the Authentic Self rocks the boat. The Truth is that the boat is already rocking, and the Authentic Self helps it to calm down. What people notice is that change, and get uncomfortable with it. They haven't figured out that calmer waters are actually easier.

The Guides also correct this model further by explaining that when we are our Authentic Selves, relationships around us become inadvertently smoother. It's the trying to make them smooth that ruffles feathers. Since the Authentic Self is Divine Grace - Unconditional Love - it is soothing to be around. No effort needed!

When we feel we are authentic, but there is some sense of not fitting in, it is the ego of the Inauthentic Self that is uncomfortable, and doesn't fit in. One of our Western societal lies that promotes the illusion of separation tells us that the Authentic Self doesn't fit in - it's too radical, too challenging of the norm, and people don't like it. The Guides assure me that it is the Authentic Self that fits in; the Inauthentic Self is the catalyst for discomfort.

This means that when we are truly Authentic, we will be doing our Authentic work, and all tension, unhappiness, poverty, conflict and disease will disappear. Our Authentic Selves are fully Abundant, Happy, Healthy, and Peaceful. And of course, Energy Pattern Healing is one of many gifts the Guides have bestowed upon the world to help us all be fully aligned with and ultimately become our Authentic Selves.

Angel-tude: A new attitude for the new year.

The softness and radiance of spring dawns upon us now, rising like the sun. The gentlest first rays are just now piquing our awareness to its presence. Although Angels are always among us, now is the time of year we feel them closest. Now is the time of year we seem to be inspired by them the most. As Winter Solstice has just passed, let us remember that the Light half of the year quickens.

The coming of the Light is a milestone for humankind. Since it is annual, we get to renew our connection to the Light, and reclaim our birthright of forgiveness. Let us herald it by showing our Angel-tude! As we conscously embody the attitude of the Angels, we focus on Divine Light, and thus facilitate the true and permanent coming of Peace on Earth. To magnificently
amplify authentic Angel-tude, we must be fully present, and take it one moment at a time. Here are some ideas to help make manifest the Human-Angel connection.

Just for Today I will try to live this day as if Peace on Earth is here, Now. I will not take on life's problems. I can be Peaceful and Compassionate for 12 hours. I do not have to keep it up for a lifetime. I have help. I am helpful.

Just for Today, I will adjust my attitude to bring Peace to people around me. I am not responsible for their peace, but I will hold Sacred Space for Peace to be present.

Just for Today, I will be happy. This assumes nothing, but exhibits my willingness to be joyful and grateful.

Just for Today, I will strengthen my mind. When I get crabby, I will honor myself and the others around me by removing myself and taking a break. I will then step back into the Grace of Angel-tude and continue to hold the Sacred Space for Peace.

Just for Today, I will exercise my soul in three ways. I will help out without being asked to; I will donate something to charity, even if it is only one can of food, and I will enjoy myself thoroughly.

Just for Today, I will be agreeable. I agree to be peaceful. I agree to be compassionate, and I agree to be gentle. In this way shall I model Angel-tude for myself and for others.

Just for Today, I will have a program of my choosing. I will download, install, launch and run this program of Compassion in my mental computer. Although it may not be perfect, I will exercise the right to be a Light Bearer.

Just for Today, I will take some quiet time to myself. I will enjoy nature, and choose to be content. I will discuss exercises of love with my own Angel guides.

And Just for Today, I will be unafraid. I am in the company of Angels, and know that as I give to the World, so the Angels give back to me. I will enjoy what is beautiful and in doing so, the beauty in the world will be amplified.

The very essence of Angel-tude is deliberately living compassionately, peacefully, joyfully, helpfully and with gratitude. As we refrain from the habits of judging ourselves and others, we bring gentleness into the world. As we relinquish the right to resentment, we bring joy into the world. As we allow ourselves to be fully present in the Light, we allow miracles to happen. This is the path of the Light Bearer. This is the path of empowered compassion. Just for Today, bask in the glow of Angel-tude!

Inappropriate Shielding

Sometimes people have an almost neurotic need to protect themselves. This is especially true of people who have been traumatized (no surprise there). But even as they move forward in their healing, they find it hard to accept the fact that they are inherently safe. The truth of the matter is that your safety depends on your vibration. Victims and their victimizers, like everything else, have to be a vibrational match. The Law of Attraction applies to this issue every bit as much as any other issue.

As people on a spiritual path move away from and heal the hurts of their pasts, their boundaries change, and consequently, so does their vibration. 12 Step recovery is a powerful example of this. Yet, for a person to feel safe, s/he has to own his or her safety. You have to accept it. Remember that feelings are not facts. Just because you feel threatened does not necessarily mean there's a real threat. Trauma distorts your perceptions.

In practical terms what does this mean? As you learn metaphyscial principles of psychic protection, you apply them by using energetic shields. An appropriate use of shielding is to not use them unless you sense danger. As a reaction to their traumas, however, when people feel inherently unsafe, they feel the need to shield themselves all the time. I have heard of people casting a shield of a mile radius when they drive along a highway, or cast a half-mile shield over their neighborhood! The rationale is that they and other drivers will be safe, that their neighborhoods will be safe. A sweet thought, steeped in compassion, but very codependent.
This is wildly inappropriate for a number of reasons:

You're making yourself everybody else's Higher Power. You are declaring yourself responsible for other people's safety, and disallowing them the priviege and ownership of their own safety. You have declared that you know what's best for them. So who died and made you Sovereign Ruler of Everything?
You only have X amount of energy at any given time. We as human beings are not conduits for unlimited long-term sustained out-pourings of energy. Our own electrical systems will short out after a while. Shielding yourself indefinitely leaves you exhausted.
If you're pouring half your energy into shielding, that leaves only half your energy to run your body and health, and be functional in the world, including manifesting prosperity and money, maintaining your relationships, and dealing with new stuff that comes down the pike.
When you over-extend your energy, energy "vampires" can easily siphon it off. A note on vampires: they are every where: the person who calls you and talks your ear off for half an hour and doesn't bother to ask how you are, and leaves you drained. The drama queen at work who wears the victimhood on the sleeves and tells you all about their latest mishap. The *** in the grocery store who complains about everything - loudly - while standing in line. In short, people who are a pain in the ***.
If you leave up permanent shields, they cut you off from others. As you go through your daily life, the Rose filtering "shield" is more than adequate. Think of it this way. Would you buy a suit of plate mail armor and put it on every time you leave the house? No, of course not. It would be physically exhausting, very expensive (a full suit of armour costs several thousand dollars), and it would interfere with your daily life. No one would really want to interact with you. When you leave yourself heavily shielded, it has a similar effect on your life and people around you. And it does drain your wallet, because your energy is tied up and not available for manifesting.

The truth is that a person is equally safe at any given moment: in their car, in their town, in a another town, on the street, on the seedy side of town, in the day time, at night, etc., etc., etc.. Your safety depends on your boundaries. Remember, your guides expect you to use your intelligence and prudence. If you dress skimpily and go down a dangerous street, you'll get dangerous attention. You have to do your part. If you want to be safe, don't engage in risky behaviour, and over-extending your energy doesn't help.

Appropriate shielding
Shields are for special circumstances, not for every day use. Again, only shield when you sense immediate danger, and take them down when you're back to being safe. When you use a shield, unless there are special circumstances, you really only need a shield of 6 inches, even in a car (i.e. extend the shield no further than a foot around the exterior of the car). You simply need to not be touched. A car careening out of control is scarey, but so long as you're not hit, it's all good. Similarly, standing in the presence of a dangerous criminal doesn't harm you. If you're not an energetic match, you're safe. You can even smile and nod at them! If you truly want to be safe, take a self-defence class, and work a 12 Step plan of Recovery. Learn new boundaries.

Affirmations

Affirmations are a great way to elevate your vibration and activate positive energy patterns. Here are some I use all the time. Feel free to tweak them any way you like. They should make you smile and feel good at the thought of them manifesting in your life.

Recommendation: Write your affirmations every day, ten times each. While you're doing this, hold on to that happy feeling and imagine how your life will be when they happen. Change your affirmations when you get bored with them.

The Universe is Abundant, and all my needs are met!
I have a job that I love, in a place that I love that's easy to get to, with people I respect enjoy and appreciate, who respect, enjoy and appreciate me for a net salary of _________.
Thank you for my Right and Perfect partner in whom I delight, who delights in me.

Use your Intuition Effectively

OK, this one is kinda long, but it's really important, so here goes:
This may seem obvious, but there's a lot of inappropriate "use" of one's Guardian Angles going on out there. Examples: I've seem obese people standing in the frozen food section trying to get a reading if they should have one brand of frozen pizza or the other. I've seen really really ill people forgo the use of laundry detergent in favor of some questionable doodad that somehow uses charged ions to clean laundry in the machine. I've had women ask me if their boyfriends, who beat them, love them. YIKES!!

So, I'd like to shed some light on this topic, and show you how I do it. I'm not saying this is the right way to do effectively connect in; I'm sure there are other good ways, too, but this works for me. Yes - there's actually a method! :)

But first, understand that what I'm about to tell you is contingent upon several things:

You are free from negative spiritual influences that keep you disempowered and stuck in poverty, disease and conflict,
Your spirit guides are also free from these influences, (some of them really are out to get you! No joke!)

Note: Usually, it takes clients two to four Energy Pattern Healing sessions to get to this point.

and you're willing to do your part to activate Happiness, Health, Peace and Prosperity.

OK so here's the deal. Healthy spirit guides want you to:

Use your intelligence, logic and experience,
and call on them if you are stuck.
They do not want to hand-hold you and spoon-feed you every 5 minutes. That's not what they are there for.

They are there to assist you, not run your life. It is your job to run your life! This means you have to learn to trust yourself as well as them, and take responsibility for yourself. Now, this takes practice. It's not going to suddenly happen just because you want it to.

Step 1: Trust Yourself - handle your own details.
Some spiritual advisors out there tell you to run every little thing past your guides: what color to wear, which food to eat, etc. This is actually abdicating your responsibility for yourself; it's a codependent relationship. If you have spirit guides who actually want this level of interaction, you've got a bunch of control freaks who really don't understand that this actually keeps you stuck.

Here's why: Imagine you have a group of people whose job it is to help you. You give them a task list. You need x, y and z to be healthy, happy and prosperous. Now, as they are going out the door, they get a phone call from you. Should you wear purple? They confer; go with the blue. OK, so they are on their way out again, and maybe this time some of them actually get to the car, but the phone rings again. They come back in ... Should you eat the macaroni and cheese or BLT?

You can see how this wastes time and energy. Do you really want them focusing on the minutia of life, or do you want them to focus on the bigger stuff, like helping you find a better, higher paying job, an appropriate relationship, a great home that's inexpensive? Your guides won't get much done if you keep interrupting.
So, you need to trust yourself that you can make sound decisions on your own. Should you eat pizza or macaroni and cheese? Duh! Neither! If you want health, go with the salad. If you're truly unclear about what constitutes healthy food choices, go to a library and read up on it, or go see a nutritionist.

Step 2: Ask the right questions.
There's an art to asking questions to get accurate, useful answers. Here are some rules of thumb to analyze your questions:

Identify the "should". Should I buy this car? Understand that there are no "Shoulds". "Should" is a judgment, with a negative implication. Learn to eradicate it from your life. Move away from judgment and into discernment. The discerning question is more along the lines of "Is it prudent for me to buy this car?" Better yet: "Will this car cost me a lot to keep it in good shape?" Cut to the chase.
What does your intelligence say? If you're buying a car, don't ask the guides. Take it to a mechanic. Once the mechanic comes back with a verdict, you can take that information to your spirit guides,if you really need to.
What does your experience tell you? "Hey, I owned one of these cars, and so did my dad, and they were totally unreliable." Again, you don't need to bother your Angels with this.

So you've narrowed down your search for a good car. You have 3 you like, the mechanic has good things to say about them (as does Consumer Reports), and it's time to make a decision. Again, you don't need spiritual guidance on this. Go with your favorite color, or make or model. Go weith the one that feeeeels the best to be in! Afterall, you, not your guides, have to drive it.

When it comes to asking questions pertaining to working with other people, you need to understand the world is divided into 3 categories: your business, their business and God's business. This is straight out of Loving What Is, by Byron Katie. Great book! Your business is things you have dominion over, like rates you charge, who you date, etc.. Their business is stuff about him or her that ultimately isn't your business, like whom they are dating, what they will or won't do, etc.. God's business is things in the world that you really have zero influence on, like the political situation in another country.

Here's an example. A client of mine found out about a copyright infringement of some of her art. She needed to draft a letter to the other person. Now, she did her part. She researched the going rate, and got a range. Then in meditation, she asked her guides "How much will Peter (obviously not his real name) pay me for this?" OOPS - not a good question. That is not her business. That's Peter's business. The appropriate question is "How much should I charge for this art?" And her Angels gave her a specific amount.

Unfortunately, she thought this was how much Peter would pay. His offer was well below it and my client was left feeling betrayed by her guides.

Step 3: Being in Useful Communion with your Guides.
Prayer and meditation are the primary ways to connect. "Prayer is talking to your Angels; meditation is listening for the answer." Make an effort to improve the quality of your prayer and meditation. Do you whine and complain in your prayers? Tell your guides how unworthy you are? Well, cut it out! Get a grip on yourself. Your life will never improve if this is how you talk about yourself to yourself and to your guides!

Your guides aren't there to nurse your poor self image along. Work with affirmations and have a conversation with your guides about them. Pick one for each morning. Ask your guides to have this affirmation materialize in your day, and be open to receiving baby steps. If you're working with prosperity, be willing to see the coin on the sidewalk as the first little raindrop in the brewing rainstorm of wealth!

If something happens and you don't know what to do, that's a great time to connect in. Say your boss is mad about something and you have more bad news. Ask your guides to help you choose the right timing, and to put the right words in your mouth.

If you don't get an answer
I have found sometimes if I'm wrestling with something, and I've gotten answers, and I'm still wrestling, then, at some point, my guides seem to have taken the phone off the hook. Where did they go? What happened? I've learned to look back and try to see what I've really been doing. In retrospect, I can see how over the time period of wrestling, maybe a few days or weeks, I've actually bombarded them with different variations of the same questions, and have gotten variations on the same answer. Yet now, nothing. I've learned that an no answer means one of two things: either wait, the timing isn't good yet, or I've already been given an answer, but I didn't like it. Good guides don't tell you what you want to hear; they give you information in alignment with your stated intentions for yourself.

Cracks in the Soul

Cracks

A wise person spoke today about how everything God/dess/etc. made has cracks: There are cracks in galaxies (worm holes and black holes), and cracks in tree bark. Even some art is based on the patterns created by cracks such as batik and raku. These cracks give texture, character and uniqueness to all of creation. Are cracks bad? No, of course not; they're just there.
Following the principle of "As above, so below", that means that we have cracks as well. God/dess/etc. has given us the cracks that are our character defects, our diseases, our problems. Like cracks in a sidewalk, these are not bad either. They, too, are just there. That means we are not bad for having cracks.
People who are very sensitive can perceive soul-cracks as "God-sized holes", and erroneously try to fill those holes with everything conceivable: cigarettes, drugs, alcohol, sex, gambling, shopping, food... and none of these things work. They just aren't big enough. "One bite is too many, and a thousand is not enough." It's hard to find God/dess/etc when you're focusing on the hole; it's the one place God/dess isn't! The key to healing a God-sized hole is to fill it with the one thing that does fit: God. One of the most powerful prayers I have found is to simply ask God/dess/etc to do for me what I cannot do for myself, and to please send me the healing I need.
Because we have free will, we as adults have choices around our cracks. We get to cement them, spackle them, paint them. Yet we cause ourselves and each other a lot of pain by judging our cracks as bad. God/dess/etc. doesn't see them as bad and neither should we. God/dess/etc loves and embraces us and our cracks, and so should we. In fact, cracks are where the Light gets through!

Just what is the deal with Energy Pattern Healing, anyway??

Great question. When I first began work as a professional psychic, round about 1990 (I had begun my studies 9 years earlier, at the age of 11), I did the usual things: Tarot cards, ghost sightings and shoo-ings (sending them back to the Light, getting rid of creepy prowlers and poltergeists, etc.), and divination. When people would come to me, it became clear that there are 3 categories of inquiries (well, four, really, if you could Miscellaneous, like "What happened to my cat?"): Health, love and money.

The most common questions were, and still are, "When am I going to meet 'the One'?, "When am I getting a better career?", and "If you're so *** psychic, why don't you know the color of my car??" People initially didn't like my answers: "It depends.", "It depends.", and "Because I'm not God."

Turns out, my Spirit Guides only give me information that pertains to a person's healing. Evn is they ask about a lost cat or stolen car, they still get information that pertains to their healing ina way that will accelerated their Soul's journey. This means that when a person will meet Mr/Ms. Right depends on how well they do their due diligence to improve themselves. It also turns out there is no such thing as Mr./Ms. Right; we each have a whole host of Rights that we can get together with at any time, if all parties involved are willing. We all have a whole army of soulmates!

So, my esoteric knowledge continued to grow as I became more experienced, read more, and talked with more like-minded people. I began to put together intuitively aspects of the different healing modalities I encountered: Reiki, psychometry, therapy, 12 Step Recovery, SRT, the main tenets of shamanism... and Energy Pattern Healing was born.

This blog will contain vignettes from daily inspirations, messages that come through when I work with clients (anonymity will always be protected), pet peeves, and always an invitation to you to check out my website and contact me with your questions.
